Perjalanan karier

Awalnya, band yang lahir di kampus Unpad ini mulai meniti karier dari panggung-panggung underground sejak 1989. Pas Band berdiri secara resmi pada tahun 1990. Pada tahun 1993 grup yang terdiri dari Bengbeng (gitar), Trisno (Bass), Yukie (vokal) dan Richard Muttler (drum) ini merilis album EP berbendera indie label dengan debut, Four Through The Sap.

Mulai album kedua In (No) Sensation (1995) hingga sekarang, mereka digandeng oleh Aquarius Musikindo. Label ini membebaskan mereka untuk berkarya. Meskipun tidak bisa merangkul semua orang lewat musiknya yang tidak biasa, namun mereka mulai membangun basis massa yang setia dengan jalur yang mereka pilih.

Album kedua ini diikuti oleh album-album mereka berikutnya, yaitu indieVduality (1997), Psycho I.D. (1998). Pada album keempat, Richard mengundurkan diri dan posisinya digantikan oleh Sandy (ex-U'Camp)^[1]. Dengan formasi tanpa Richard, mereka merilis album kelima yang berjudul Ketika (2001), namun Sandy belum dapat bermain pada rekaman album ini karena masih terikat kontrak dengan label lain. Sandy yang sekarang ini menjadi penyiar di I-Radio 89.6 FM bergabung di album keenam PAS 2.0 (2003), dan album ketujuh Stairway to Seventh (2004). Dua tahun kemudian, Pas Band meluncurkan album the best berisi 3 lagu barunya "Permata Yang Hilang", "Romeo & Juliet", dan "Gladiator" dan 9 lagu hits lamanya. Dua tahun seakan menjadi waktu yang tepat untuk mengumpulkan materi untuk album terbarunya, dan akhirnya Pas Band mengumumkan akan menelurkan album barunya pada tanggal 20 Maret 2008, berjudul Romantic,Lies & Bleeding. Hits terbarunya berjudul "Aku" yang bercerita tentang pengakuan seorang lelaki bajingan, telah malang melintang diputar di radio-radio dan Internet.

sejarah five minutes

Five Minutes adalah sebuah band pop rock yang berasal dari Kota Kembang Bandung berdiri tahun 1994. Kini, Five Minutes digawangi oleh Ricky Tjahyadi (keyboard), Richie Setiawan (vokal), Drie Warnanta (bass), Roelhilman (gitar), dan Aria Yudhistira (drum).

FORMASI AWAL Drie dan Ricky bertemu di awal tahun 1990-an dan sempat membentuk band yang tampil di sejumlah kafe. Namun band ini hanya bertahan selama 2 tahun. Mereka kemudian membentuk Five Minutes bersama Sonny (gitaris) dan Sanny (vokalis) di tahun 1994 untuk mengikuti Fetival Band Se-Jabar DKI di Bandung. Dalam ajang tersebut mereka berhasil menjadi juara 1 dari 102 peserta. Tak lama, mereka pun masuk dapur rekaman. Album perdana mereka bertajuk Five Minutes (1996), yang diikuti oleh Five Minutes 2 (1997), Ouw! (2002), Sekat (2003), dan The Best +5 (2004). Penampilan yang unik dengan mengenakan sarung di panggung, menjadi salah satu daya tarik mereka.

FORMASI BARU Setelah album The Best, Sanny sang vokalis dan Sonny (gitaris) mengundurkan diri. Ricky dan Drie pun berburu personel baru. Akhirnya Richie (vokal), Roelhilman (gitar), dan Aria Yudhistira (drum) melengkapi formasi Five Minutes yang baru. Pada bulan Juni 2007, mereka merilis album baru bertajuk Rockmantic. Mereka pun menanggalkan sarung yang selama ini lekat sebagai image mereka.

Dan akhirnya five minutes formasi baru ini bertahan sampai saat ini dengan hasil karyanya yang luar biasa.Menghasilkan lagu-lagu yang menyedot perhatian para pecinta musik indonesia.
